What to Resolve Before Ordering
Build the specification around the real use case. Product names and photographs help shortlist options; the approved sample and written configuration define the order.
- Verify the coating, not just the colourA white or smooth tumbler is not automatically a sublimation blank. Confirm the intended coating and surface for the exact model. Keep that reference in your buying specification so a visually similar product is not substituted without a review.
- Measure the artwork areaBody shape, taper, handles and fittings affect the print layout. Request usable area dimensions and check them against a physical sample. A stated capacity does not define a ready-to-use artwork template.
- Treat electronics as a separate constraintA speaker base or other electronic component changes how a product can be handled and processed. Request explicit component-removal and heat-process instructions. If those instructions are unavailable, do not approve that configuration for your workflow.
- Validate repeatability before scaleApprove the blank and decoration process together. Record the sample outcome, inspect the incoming surface and review changes to the body or coating before expanding a print run. The current catalogue is a starting range, not a promise of every blank shape.
